10u Waves Earn Top Honor in Macomb County Challenge!

by Justin LaForest

We continue to be on fire! With another multi-championship weekend from the prospects and the waves!
The 10u PKP Waves stayed close to home and played in the USSSA- AAA Macomb County Challenge. The 10u boys went 4-0 and destroyed everyone in their way, outscoring opponents 50-21! They also took down #24 and #25 in the process of their championship run! Great work boys!
15u PK Prospects Black went down south to Kentucky for their first tournament of the year and didn’t disappoint! The 15u boys went undefeated in pool play but fell just short in the championship game under the lights! It’s going to be a fun year for these guys!
16u PK Prospects Hannibal traveled down the road to Kyte Monroe and played in the AABA Fathers Day Classic. The 16u boys battled all weekend going 3-0 in pool play. But fell short in the championship game! Keep working boys!
Both 16u Shutter and 17u played in the “Exposure at the Grands” tournament put on by Davenport University and other colleges around the state of Michigan. Both teams battled all weekend against the best competition the state of Michigan has to offer! The 16u boys faced a pitcher who was committed to Clemson. They ended up chasing him out of the game by the 3rd inning putting up a total of 18 runs up on the board to cruise to a huge victory! The 17u boys played at Davenport University in front of many college scouts! Tommy Ches threw a complete game shutout that included 14 K’s and only allowed 1 hit, to give the 17u team a victory over one of the best teams in the state!
These boys continue to show out! Keep killing it boys! I will see you all back here next week! #pkp
