11u Gray Dodges Rain to Win Spring Classic Championship!

Neither the weather or the opponents could stop 11u Gray this weekend! They opened their season at the Spring Classic and were able to rattle off 4 straight wins Sunday on their way to their first Championship trophy this year! The boys put up 42 runs on the day, led by tournament MVP Cooper Filauro who finished with an .833 batting average, 3RBIs and 6 stolen bases. Jax Wolf hit .600 for the tournament and Ben Sabalinski and Gavin Morgan both added a homerun! The Waves also got great efforts on the mound, including 5 innings from Aiden Zaborowski giving up just 2 hits and striking out 9 and another 3.2 innings from Parker Winiarski while striking out 5! Great way to kick off the year 11u Gray!
